Hour glass, representing time, which coincide with our theme "Modernization". 

The bottom portion in our Collage build a neat, simple and basic wood structure. 

Why we did this? It means, in olden days, buildings were really one tone, very organized, hence the neat formation. 

Above, is a whole mixture of metal, glass all put in a messy, complex manner. This is our view on modern day buildings. Though nowadays, buildings have sharp, rigid edges, but, a closer look tells anther story thus the design:) 

I think ours really shows like we knew what we were doing. *sweet*

Our name also had the element of surprise.

One of my groupmates also included this really interesting view on our collage. Because we were not prepared, they had to randomly come up things to talk about for an entire 5 minutes. 

As time, and technology progress, we use basic materials from bricks to more advance, stronger glass, metal. 

The brick like art, represent, as we go from old to modern, the amount of bricks used decreases. But!, of course, bricks are still used, only in small quantities. 

Ok, i didnt really copy and paste what my group mates mentioned, but it goes something like that.

Somehow, the trees outside looks freakishly a bright healthy green.

The beach volley is a bloody big mirror!! So big and freaking bright WHITE. Arh.

Really reflecting all the heat through radiation. OMG@!!

-Accomplishment-

1. Woke up this morning. I wanted to play Audition. But, i had this weight on me-ns deferment-.   I cannot just sit, do something else without caring. Anyway. I have done it. Sweet. No more          trouble for the next 3 years. Hah.

2. Today i also tried another way to school. By my own. I met no one on the way. Anyway, i feel      the underpass is so eerie looking. Its fun though. On my own, at my pace. The sun rays ah,            really burning my skin. Felt as thought my skin will actually peel backwards. Ouch. 

3. 10pm. School started. Off we go into the DARCH studio to do the presentation on the Collage      Art we did yesterday. Our still didnt have a finalized name, until we decided to stick to                "Holy-crap". I love this name. Wth. My group mates all were like Hammy burger.. OMG..             -.-" 

    Anyway. My group wasn't as prepared as the other groups whom have actually a written speech to give. All we had were our Collage and brains. Actually, we had discuss quite a lot in details yesterday while brainstorming. Which kind of in a way, helped. The two presenter were the ones i said were outspoken, were really great in explaining the Collage. Omg. I was literally put out of words. I think many did too. I was amazed! 

I got to take back the part where i said "we were 98% disorganized" in my previous post, i think we were Organized. Because we as a group did cheap(chip) in some ideas, and the two presenters did present the Collage in the way we have discussed. Congratz man. I am on cloud nine now, maybe cloud 6.. 

ee yer. My phone and the laptop is so not cooperative. Stupid. Now cant even upload pics.. Arh. ill do it another time. '

-2nd day of school-

First things first. I have yet complete my unfinished post dated 20thApril2009. 

Yesterday's mount sophia trip was somewhat entertaining to an extend. The rain really lifted our spirits, okay, maybe mine. Anyway, our Team H, still hadn't come up with a confirmed group name. There was Hamburger, Hanky panky, and my all time favourite- Hiroshima Bomb -, where some were like Erm, wth? But i thought that name sounded like power and has a long history behind it. So why not. 

Anyway, my team settled with Hamburger!! OMG! WTH. This one is even more WTH. 

Double Wth, triple and more. *Shock*

Since i got that all cleared up, ill move on:) 

Today, alarm on my handphone was set to an early 630. Snoozed, snoozed and more snoozes,  finally i woke up. Showered. Bused down. School supposedly started at 9, but,... blame my heavy sleeper-self. 

Today was Collage Art. So primary school. Don't know how long i have not done a collage. 

So off we go. My group, Hamburger, decided to make a Collage shaped like a BURGER!!!!!!! OMG. OMG. OMg. OMG. OMg. OMG. OMg. OMG.........ARhhhhhh. Are you guys for real??

Thank god i managed to talk them out of it, because i felt it was really silly. *so relieved*

From 1030 to 4+, we were in the studio doing our collage. Really, if our group didnt have some really powerful and demanding speakers, we all could pitch in our ideas, and come up with a better one. It was 98% disorganized. Maybe i sound like i exaggerated. Maybe i did. I tried throwing my concept and how i imagined it to look like and mean. My group mates said it was a good idea. But, dont know why it wasn't done. LOL!

After pasting, and more pasting. Our final product is finally finished! Though it wasn't fantastic, we can say we did it. 

*Lecturer today was like saying, if u dont do, i wont force you. You dont come to school, i wont chase after you.* 

Like really? Of course it is time we be more responsible. A bit fearful with me having my own life in my hands. So dangerous. 

I hope my course mates all help one another! 

Tomorrow's our collage presentation. Hopefully, it gives a great overall review of our product, and bring a whole lot of meaning. Some more it isn't the lecturers who pick the top 3, it is the students!!! Wah. Havoc is about to unearth. 

*prays* 

Oh yea. Today i tried FC3's food. Omg. Ee yer. I so might not return there for a second visit asap. Can die. The atmosphere really sucked. There a bloody tape recorder-ed National Geographic that was shown on Tv. OMG. SO WTHz.. [>.<]"

Like so last year stuff lo. omg. omg. omg. omg. omg. omg. omg. 

Never mind, that isn't the point. I had tom yam noodles today. Not bad. $3. But im kind of grossed out by the stallholder,....... dont want to elaborate. 

Overall, i had fun. better than yesterday. =]

Still not done. Like seriously lo. I did it once. Now got to do it a second time or else ill auto get enlisted for ns. Wth. 

So long le. I dont even recall my password etc. Can die. Now the bloody web page still loading. Taking forever okay! Hopefully i get it done asap, or soon, ill be marching,running, doing backflips here and there and for god knows what else. On the positive note, i can look strong? Or at least thats what i want to look like coming out. Just need those lose blubber smaller.

Today i kind of felt as though i may have chosen the wrong course, somehow. 

We had this group race at Mount Sophia. Had to walk up the many steps to out location. Omg, leg almost cannot tahan(take it). 

We were late. Think because it was me. Suppose to take the train down to Douby, however, i got to the wrong line. And so time got dragged. (sorry)

Can die. *just fought with sister.. Seriously. Faint. Cant i have do finish my stuff before i vacate??* Anyway. The race was fun, especially with my groups members. There were like this two repeat DARCH students, so when lessons start proper i can ask them for help:D

Day 4 of orientation (16thApril2009):

Im really happy with todays' results:D

Woke up on my own, using my handphone, however i kept hearing this faint ringing sound somewhere; it was the alarm clock. 630am i woke up.

Eyes were heavy, sky was still dark and i know i had to meet Sakeena at Redhill mrt at 710am plus. Of course, i underestimated my time, and Sakeena had to leave before. So trained alone all the way to Hougang station. First time there anyway. The train ride there was pleasant, with many many seats empty. I like the new design of the mrt trains.

Arrived at Hougang, all alone, blur vision without my glasses. Seriously, i was like squinting trying to look out for my other classmates.

Luckily, just 10 minutes after, one of my classmate appeared, followed by many others. Hah! How glad i felt. It was 810am+ by then, so we headed for the Mcdonald's, sat, chatted. Then off we for collection for President's Challenge Charity. Wasn't looking to it anyway.

Our class decided to split into groups. I was partnered with 2 guys. So it was kind of competitive due to the fact there was 3 of us. I wanted to split from my group, however i didnt. 

Walked a HUGE round around hougang. Feet actually started to ache after like an hour plus of walking. At the same time, we like acting like vampire preying on victims, only we are for their money not blood. 

Time approached 1130+ and my class had sort of a curfew to meet back at Hougang mrt station. We off we went, another half hours walk back. Gosh, by the time we got back, our legs just couldn't budge. LOL! 

I only rested for a couple of minutes before i suddenly felt horrible for doing such a terrible job in trying to get people to donate. My tin had only like 15 coins inside it? Wth. Cos it was also our duty to help, and me having only 15 coins,.... Sigh 

*speechless*

Anyway. I got up. Started chasing people for donations. LOL. Literally walking up to them, instead of waiting for them to walk up to me. 

There were a few really kind souls man. 

*Recall : I went up to this guy, he looked decent so i decided to ask him for donation. He refused at first. However, he returned and told me " I see you are very hard-working, and he put in $1!!*

 OMGzzZ! So kind of him. I felt proud of myself when he said that. LOL. Makes my effort all worth it. ^.^

There were many others, but that guy that came back to donate was really a BIG thing to me, hence the good memory. 

Anyway, there were also some really WTH people. I dont want to talk behind their backs, but this is a must say. 

Got this lady, with her earphones pluck into her ears, she totally ignored me. I know we all should expect stuff response some day. But, the point that really annoyed me was she actually saw me, and i walked up to her, with an angelic voice, i tried to capture her attention. But she totally ignored me. HAH! Of course there many, but somehow, this lady got my attention. How ironic. 

Thank god, i did my part. $40 total? Not bad. I know my friends from other class got like 80$ plus. Total ownage i say. But still, it was like last minute collection. I feel good. Had 15 one dollars leh. So happy. But my piggy bank got more. Haha. 

**finished on 18th April 2009, 1:14am** 

Today, my mom like totally went off onto the rough terrain zone lo. She was just in a bad mood like majority of the day. Aiyo. The past few days, when we could talk, and laugh,.. I could not do it today. Like the mood managed to escape. Tsk. Really sucky. 

Coming monday, Official poly school day:) My school special de. Cos its the first week, we dont have to follow the timetable, but there are programs planned for us. 

Yay! Flag day is out, so glad it is. Really dislike having to chase people for donations. LOL! Sound like some teacher chasing a student for homework. 

Some more, to further more add to my torment, i came home with a pounding head ache. How fun. Then the entire night had trouble sleeping. Even my dream was awkward - i dreamt my teeth fell out leh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Omg loh. So scary. Will faint if my teeth for real fall out. 

Anyway, the head ache is currently switched off. Hopefully wont be turned on anytime soon.

-Orientation-

Day one 13th April 2009:

I didnt know what to expect. All i knew, i was suppose to do the SPICE thingy.
So our located lecturer had us enter the computer. However i forgotten my password. And thats like when the problems starting surfacing. *faint*
Keep raising my hand, for help. But each time, the lecturer asked me to wait for the technician. Anyway, once the guy came, he tried logging in to the computer i was using, but it didnt work. So here i go. Changed computers. The technician by then had left. So there i was STILL fiddling with my password. Trail and erroring all the different passwords i may have used. But all useless la
So like 20 minutes of stoning in front of my computer, the lecturer then advised me to use her laptop to login to reset my password etc.

Seriously. Everyone was Way way ahead in the SPICE training thingy. I was still at step 1(one), Which kind of made me happy in a way. Cos if im in need of help, i can use that as my stepping stone to start talking to people. Of course, I found it hard to make friends on the first day.

And just before release, approximately 30 minutes before, this guy came in to introduce us to the library... Kind of dry though. He was lively, and extremely enthusiatic about passing the knowledge of the library, but.. I didnt really absorb everthing.

Ah, 2 hours up, time for home sweet home. *^.^*
A perfect ending. But i made 2 new girl friends, on the first, however from a different class. Tsk.


Day two 14th April 2009:

Met my new girl friends at Dover mrt(plus a close friend of mine=]), then walked over to the Auditorium for the welcome message. Believe it or not. We were so amiless. Walk here walk there, scratching heads wondering where the heck the auditorium is located.
Finally found it. Went in. FOund out seats and sat.

Waited. Waited anf waited. Soon, 1015 came around, auditorium almost fully packed with freshmen from the ABE(Architecute&Built Environment).
Wow. Im really inspired to be like those leaders. I mean, i love the way they are open, and having fun.
In comparison, im not like that. Im really trying my best to break free. But anyway, there was perfomances from the Dance club by the BE students. I liked the JAzz dance compared to the whatever dance came before that. >.<" Oh yea. The Cha cha.. So boring.
Soon, the pregramme ended ( i didnt take photos. ).
Walked out of the auditorium, there was a buffer put out for us! Well. Seemed like a lot. But all repeated dishes. *Faint*. Not much selection.

Let me skip to the ice breaking games part. I really had an awesome time playing the games. REally felt bonded for the first time. HAH!
Though i still cant recall some people's names, i know ill nail them asap.

Coming thursday, we have Flag Day!! Erm. Its like a tradition with all the freshmen students since year 2000/. So. Hopefully. Ill be able to make some stranger of the road/street to donate generously. HEH!

Hope i make more close friends by then. Then the school term which starts next week wont be a drag. *prays*.. Please god!

American Idol season 8 really has lots of talents man. And one in particular stands out from the rest -Adam Lambert-. Goodness. im Crazy this guy. His singing is so inspirational, so tender, so different, so originally crafted vocals. Wow. Need i say more? He is already a winner in my eyes thats for sure:)

The judges, week after week, praised him on his singing. Just this week, Simon Cowell gave Adam a standing ovation. First in history of A.I. Unbelievable! I love him=]

So, school's opening soon. Leisure comes to a stand still, or should i say, is limited.
Besides, my mum advised to study hard. And to change. As she said, "yea! You can play now, Until school starts, you better change".
My god. It sounds like im entering someone elses body for 3 years if that were to happen. I can not not have games. Honest to say. BUT, i have to make a so-called new year's resolution, or say, new school's resolution? Heh.
Cant believe im heading to poly. All my life, especially younger, my mum recently told me how "stupid" i was younger. Stupid to have to go for one more year of schooling-nursery-.
Obviously my mum didnt say i was stupid or anything such hurtful vocab, she jsut mentioned i was slow.

I vividly recall somewhere during my schooling days when i was Extremely young, i coloured a picture all Black. BLACK! Which showed i had no talent for arts.
Turns out, i think i do. Which explains why i chose art as one of my subs in secondary school.
Now im in Poly! It truly amazes me.

BAck to topic. School's starting. MY brain is somewhat already dead, from the months of sitting/lazing at home. Dont know how the Actual first day of school would be like.

Oh yes. I have been editting, trial and erroring with the template's HTML. From day one, the excitement of having to finally having a personalized blog, slowly dead down. Because day after day, i just could no longer find anything cool to do with my blog, or im just a noob at customizing.
Tried changing this, and that, but doesn't seem to make a difference, so mind as well, heck care. And just make do with what i have.
Currently, im glad with the results. Jsut needs more spark. More Electricity.
Argh, dont know. Im still not glad with my blog. And i dont know what else to do with it.

Cos it seems that teachers remember students who have had given them a hard time during those days,.. etc

Back to topic. SP's enrollment was a breeze. I found myself sailing through all the steps in 20 minutes, more or less. Maybe i didnt get a laptop, so that probably why i finished so quick. 

By then, it was almost 6, and nothing more to be done.. *a little side note, ever since my Sec 2 camp, i have camp-phobia.* Gosh. 

So do i dare take a chance by going for the Freshmen orientation camp?

YAY! Off to meet Alex at Tiong at the BACKside of the train. 

OMg. First time enter Tiong Plaza? Geez, like im some kid, eyes wide open, gazing at the NEW place. But its so... EMPTY? Or maybe im just too influenced with the fully bustling shopping centers along Orchard?

Off to the Ticketing booth. Bought 4 movie tickets at the price of only $6.... OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG!!! 

Why didnt i know there was this OFFER to STUDENTS??????? Gosh. If not like the many times i went to watch movies, i could have SAVED MONEY!! GOD!

Its so cute that Stella is so "allergic" to flash.

Anyway, After purchasing the tickets, we had a full hour to chat, eat and even Arcade. 

Subway for dinner, then slowly made our way to the cinema. Stopped over at Challenger to look at some gadgets and the NumPad i want in other to play 8Key in AuditionSEA. Sigh. So Ex. 

After which we made our ways to the movie theatre. Gosh, the movie hall was so vacant. Then while still watching commercials on the screen, we decided to move to the front. WOW. Nice view. Like no those "shadows" of other people's head in the paths of the eyes. PERFECT movie. PLUS pop corn which i saved.. LOL! 

The movie was actually not bad. I liked it. not bad as i thought/assumed. 

Walked around for a while, Stoned at subway before heading home. 

LOL! hopefully the about photo doesn't spark any anger whatsoever.
